To ensure that the Fellow Team shares the same understanding of the organisation and to facilitate their responses, it is highly recommended that you discuss and communicate with the proposed Fellow Team before submission. Your Organisation’s Strategic Positioning, Current Challenge, and Future Strategic Focus Areas

1. What makes your organisation unique and strategically positioned in the sector?

2. Please share ONE major challenge experienced in the past 3 years in areas of service delivery or organisational operation impacting organisation resilience (i.e. leadership, culture, talent, strategic orientation, etc.). In what way is the challenge common to the sector?

3. Please share the specific actions taken to diagnose and address the above challenge. Specifically, what was the Agency Head's strategic role in addressing it, for example, in the areas of communicating the challenge, mobilising resources, and driving shared ownership and accountability across all levels of the organisation? What was the process like, and what hurdles, if any, were encountered along the way?

9. The JC InnoPower Social Welfare Fellowship aims to foster a sustainable culture of active learning, collaboration and innovation within and beyond institutions to enhance service quality and sector resilience.

a. In your opinion, in what areas, for example but not limited to service, strategy, capacity, or resource development, can institutions in the social welfare sector collaborate for the benefit of the sector and the community?

b. In your opinion, what common grounds or synergies do you see between the NGO sector and other sectors? In what areas, for example but not limited to service, strategy, capacity, or resource development, can the social welfare sector collaborate with other sectors for the benefit of the community?

I confirm I will be able to attend the Welcome Reception on 14 April 2026 and certain group coaching sessions and local leadership workshops during the fellowship programme from May to November 2026 in person if the Fellow Team is shortlisted.

I understand that, subject to availability and the discretion of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, our organisation may nominate ONE additional full-time employee to join a one-week leadership programme in the U.S. at no additional costs if our team is selected. On behalf of the organisation, I confirm that our organisation will provide necessary support and resources (if applicable) to facilitate the selected employee’s participation in the one-week leadership programme.
